Office

Office started out as a solo project for Scott Masson, but over the years, this Chicago-based outfit has changed their sound up and grown in numbers to a total of six including frontman Tom Smith, multi-instrumentalist Jessica Gonyea, bassist Colin DeKuiper, keyboardist Justin Petertil and drummer Erica Corniel. It should be pointed out that these melodic, sometimes jangly, Brit-inspired rockers describe themselves on their MySpace page as sounding like "K-Fed's head in a bed of lead," and the statement is certainly food for thought. In September 2007, the band released their latest album, A Night at the Ritz, on James Iha's Scratchie Records. They followed it up in March with a three song single featuring new cuts "Enter Me, Exit You," "Sleep of Reason" and "Nobody Knows You" - and told fans to expect more in the coming months. |
